We understand there are some Veterans who want to handle their own case. We have the knowledge on what a solid IMO should look like. We also have an arsenal of doctors that are ready to review and write your nexus letters. We also work with many specialty type doctors.
Absolutely not. To be clear. We are not VSO's or Attorneys. We have no interest in the outcome of your VA disability case. Any company that shows an interest or boasts success rates, is not neutral and not compliant, and you take the risk of the VA not considering your IMO due to the IMO being biased, unethical and fraudulent concerns. Which is completely legal and happens often.
Any company that advertise they will help you win your VA claim is being unethical and it will raise an eye brow when being reviewed. While we cannot guarantee results, we can guarantee that you will increase your odds of successfully appealing your case.
Simply put, if the VA says you do not have a nexus, then you will not win without a nexus letter. DBQ's may work for an initial claim or new increase, but only the nexus letter will work for service connection denials and/or low assigned ratings.
In many cases, it may take a few rounds of appeals to win. The issue will not be with your IMO, but rather a combination of a few items outside your control. The bottom-line is you will have a competent, unbiased, legal and thorough medical opinion.
Our process is easy! Only seven steps.
First, gather your Rating Decision Letter (RDL), DD214 (for new service connection(s) and direct connections only), any other medical diagnosis and current treatment docs, service medical treatment records, blue button records, buddy letters, lab tests, MRI's/X-rays, any other service records showing the event or injury. If denied an increase to an existing rated condition, we only need the RDL and any medical evidence (Private DBQ's, other IMO's, Med records, etc.) to support the worsening condition.
Request a free emailed initial assessment. This will determine if we can help you and detail our process.
Pay for the the Doctor's Assessment.
Provide you the assessment and determine what is needed to move forward.
Pay for the medical opinion report.
Quality control review by an accredited VA attorney. This is purely for quality and legal standing. Not for legal arguments.
Send the final IMO report to you.
We usually have free emailed initial assessments back to you within 24-48 hours.
The doctor assessments are completed with in seven days.
The doctor medical opinions reports are completed within seven to 21 days. It just depends on the amount of conditions and if a specialty doctor is needed. There is an expedite option for an additional fee.
No. Our opinions are just that...opinions. Doctor opinions are based on the evidence in the record.
No. We do not offer financing. However, we can set up a payment plan. Your case will not be worked on until paid in full. Our process allows for two payments.
The first payment is to secure a preliminary assessment opinion by a doctor to determine if your condition can be supported or not.
The second payment is for the actual independent medical opinion report. This is report is detailed and well supported. It's not a one pager, not an application based opinion and definitely not completed by anyone that is not a doctor.
We can also take payment from a disinterested third party. This party must not have a stake in your claim results nor have any stake in your back payment.
Yes. We can certainly schedule a call with your representative and work with them directly.
Yes. In addition to appeals, you can also use nexus statements for new claims and reopen claims. Remember, we need a diagnosis, event or injury in-service or perhaps we can look at alternate theories such as secondary or aggravation claims.
If you are not successful after submitting an IMO, it is most likely a legal issue and you will want to work with attorney. There are many reasons why it may be a legal issues and it would be best if you worked with an attorney. We can certainly put you in contact with a reputable accredited agent or free organization for review.
If you are denied due to our IMO issue or medical issue, we can provide another doctor assessment and rebuttal letter.
Not all VA denials are wrong. Especially if you provide conflicting information and/or not truthful. Medical opinions are provided based on the truth of the matter asserted by you.
The doctors initial assessment is usually good for 30 days. In most cases, if you decide to move forward after 30 days, you may need a new assessments. This on a case by case basis and depends on the conditions and medical evidence used for the doctor to formulate their assessment. The answer is no if you don't ask. If it is past 30 days after you receive the assessment, just ask us when you are ready.
Initially, you can upload your documents when completing the free emailed assessment. The upload feature is secure and HIPAA compliant. If you decide to move forward you will be sent a confirmation email with secured link to upload documents.
Yes! It's no surprise the VA can counter that their doctor trumps any other medical professionals opinion or perhaps say they are not qualified. IMO's are expensive, so why lower your chances? We exclusively only use doctors. Paying for lower cost non-doctor IMO's is simply not worth the risk. We understand non-doctor IMO's may still work, and that is awesome (We know of many great non-doctor companies. Good people too!) , but in our opinion and respectfully so, it's the same reasoning as why one would not fight a legal battle with a paralegal or legal assistant. That's exactly what you are doing with the VA. You are technically in a legal battle (Or the start of one) to prove your conditions are due to military service.
